Flipper International
School
Flipper International School (FIS) was founded in 1998 by two visionary educators, Mrs. Serkaddis Seifu and Mrs. Menna Selamu.
Recognizing the lack of comprehensive early childhood education in Addis Ababa, they established the school with the goal of creating a loving, stimulating environment where preschoolers could begin their educational journey with confidence.
Over the years, FIS has built a strong reputation for academic excellence and holistic development. What began as a preschool has evolved into one of the most respected institutions in Addis Ababa, now offering high-quality education across Early Years, Primary, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary and Advanced Level programs.
Today, FIS operates under the full acquisition of ADvTECH International, positioning the school within a broader network of global educational excellence while maintaining its local legacy and values.
